Cold Days

Yesterday was supposed to be my first day back from maternity leave. But there was no school yesterday or today because of the temperature. The coldest it got was -7, but the windchill was down to -35, which are both way too cold for kids to be waiting out for the bus. So we spent the last two days in the comfort of our home going stir crazy. I'm usually an advocate for snow days, but we've already had 5 this year and it's not even the middle of January yet. It's looking like an really short summer, which I'm not a fan of. During our days at home I took quite a few pictures.

Graham did his normal sleep, eat, poop routine. He's getting so big already! It's hard to believe that he'll be 11 weeks old tomorrow. Time passes too quickly and it's always more evident with an infant!

Oliver enjoyed a lot more TV than normal, including watching Toy Story for the first time and enjoying his new VeggieTales DVDs that he got for Christmas from Aunt Holly. We also played with trains, Legos, empty shoeboxes, and paint.

To be honest we are pretty stir crazy and ready for routine! Bring on the rest of the school year!
