Birthday Weekend

We keep getting snow. This year is less than an inch from the record amount of snow fall in one winter in the Cincinnati area. We are sick of snow and snow days to say the least! On Valentine's Day I got a surprise day off. We spent the morning as a family at the grocery store with bakery donuts and milk before going shopping. The winter storm did not arrive until late afternoon so it was a nice day at home. But over night we got about 3 inches of the white stuff to cover everything once again.

Yesterday was my 33rd birthday. It started out with attempting to run with my church group, but it did not happen because I fell on the ice. After coming home I took a shower and got ready for Mom and Dad to show up. Once they got here they played with the boys for a while until Oliver's soccer game. It was a late game so he was quite sleepy before it even began. Lunch was at Red Robin then dessert at home. Mom made a Peter Paul Mounds cake. Delicious! After a short rest period we went to church. It was a great day!

This morning Oliver enjoyed some more time with Papa and Nana before they had to go back home. Now we are just hoping for a full week of work and no more snow!
