Last week we said, "Goodbye" to my paternal grandfather. Though he and I were never close in his 80 years, I made my way to North Carolina to spend time with my family, especially my dad. Graham joined me for the adventure. Even though we had just seen family during the last two weekends, it was nice to be together to comfort one another. The only bad thing was that no one took any pictures of all of us together.
Graham and I got home on Friday afternoon in time for dinner. On Saturday we said, "Good-bye" to Oliver's first season of indoor soccer. He really enjoyed playing and even got a medal. Though it will be nice to have our Saturday mornings free for a bit, we will miss watching him play.
