Recharging

This week had some great times in it! First, the temperature on Tuesday was close to 70, so after school Oliver, Graham and I ate dinner on the back porch then went for a walk. Oliver loves running from mailbox to mailbox down the sidewalk. We stayed outside until bath time, which is something I plan on creating into a habit this spring.

On Thursday night we went to Bible study and our friend Shannon took some pictures of Graham while he played on the floor. We love our group! Oliver enjoys it too and cries most nights when it is time to leave his friends.

Friday ended with Oliver and I shopping and getting a treat. He does not have any summer clothes so we have started looking for things we like and that I can get a good deal on. This is the first time since he was born that I have had to shop because we've always had hand-me-downs. I think his favorite part of the night was playing at Chick-fil-A after we ate our icecream.

Graham also tried some rice cereal for the first time on Saturday. He was quite confused! However, this morning we tried it again and he kept opening his mouth for more, seeming quite disappointed when it was gone. I think we're going to have another big eater on our hands!

Saturday was my favorite because I got to spend the day with Kristen! We had Mexican for lunch, shopped til we dropped, enjoyed Yagoot, and indulged in some bath scrubs that smell amazing! The crazy part was that we completely lost track of time and hung out for the majority of the day, kid-free! Our husbands are amazing for taking 4 children all day long so that we could have some much-needed time to recharge. We are thankful for great friends!

The day ended with a family walk. I can't wait to do more of them as the weather improves!
