Spring Break 2014

Spring Break flew by this year! On Monday the boys went to daycare and I spent the morning having breakfast with my friend Julie and then some time shopping and running other errands. After I picked up the boys from daycare we went to the library and played checkers. Tuesday I was also kid-free, giving me the opportunity to have the manicure/pedicure Brent bought for my birthday back in February. It was amazing and very relaxing!

For the rest of the week we took an adventure to Atlanta to see Pepaw and Grammy. Though we made it there and back, the drive was definitely the most difficult we've made up to this point because the kids were both really restless in both directions. Our time there was great though! Thursday Brent finally got to ride his new mountain bike that he bought back in January. In the afternoon we took Oliver for a haircut and to get new shoes.

Friday was spent taking family pictures at Gibbs Gardens. After our picture-taking adventure Oliver spent the afternoon with Grammy and Pepaw while Brent, Graham, and I went to the Carney house to take naps. Yes, we all slept for over 2 hours! It was glorious! That night Brent and I went to the Braves game. We were especially excited because we got free tickets through Blake that were awesome and free babysitting.

We are somewhat sad to get back into work and school in a few days, but had a great time off as a family!
