8 Months Old Already!

Today Graham is 8 months old. He's a busy body and loves to make lots of noise. We can't imagine life without him!

Graham is still a somewhat picky eater when it comes to the amount of food he will eat. Though he's down to four bottles a day, they range from 6-8 ounces each. I officially stopped pumping this week so we are emptying out the freezer, meaning he's still getting breast milk. He eats a wide range of baby food and allows me to mix fruits and veggies together. Some of his favorites are avocado and green beans, though sweet potatoes with a fruit mixed in is also one that he enjoys. Graham also loves to eat "puffs" and can pick them up by himself and put them in his mouth. He's got two teeth on the bottom and I think there are more coming on the top by the amount of drool we are dealing with every day!

Graham continues to be a great sleeper at night unless he has a cold, which has kept him up coughing this past week. He goes down after his bath and bottle around 7:30 and gets up between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning, depending when Oliver wakes him up. He has finally got the hang of napping and takes two 1.5-2 hour naps each day. Graham also loves to snuggle, especially when he's sleepy.

Graham is very verbal. He says "ba ba", "da da", and lots of other babbling that periodically sounds like words, such as "hey." It's especially easy to tell when the little guy is sleepy because he grunts until his eyes hut. Graham also moves a lot! He rolls over and over to get the things he wants. Sitting up by himself is finally mastered, though going from laying down to sitting on his own is not quite interesting enough to try yet.

Our little guy is very happy! At day care we hear all the time how he is the happiest baby. He loves to play, especially with Oliver. He thinks his big brother is the funniest thing ever! When they laugh and play together it is contagious!
