Because of the sicknesses we spent a lot of time at home last week, which is not my ideal way to spend summer. We had tons of time to bond and play though! Graham has officially mastered sitting up and continues grabbing for everything within his sight. Oliver is getting better at playing gently. They have started really making each other laugh, which is hilarious to watch. Graham has figured out how to play "Peek-a-Boo" with a burp cloth which has us all rolling!
On Friday Oliver and I spent the day with Kelli, Daniel, and Claire at Washington Park. Oliver would not get in the water, but Daniel LOVED it! The boys played and we had a picnic lunch. We love our time with the Honour family! On Friday night Oliver, Graham and I attempted to watch Madcap Puppets, but ended up running in the rain to get back to the car. We were all drenched, especially Graham. The boys were thoroughly enjoying the puppet show before the rain came down though. We were sad that we had to leave, but there is another showing this week at another park that we may attend.
On Saturday we had a family day. It started with breakfast at Reality Tuesdays, a coffee shop in Fort Mitchell. Then we went to Findlay Market for veggies, fruits, and to enjoy the culture. Both boys were really tired during our grocery shopping extravaganza at Kroger, which led to Brent needing to take Oliver to the car for a time out. After naps and showers we made our way to Flipdaddy's for supper, then ended our night at church. It was an amazing family day!
This week already has many fun things in store. We can't wait!
