I have 8 more days of work. Today I was off for a flex day, which was a tease of what I have to look forward to and making it a little more difficult to admit that I have to get up in the morning. A flex day is where teachers are given time to get a certain number of PD hours for the year. If you have done your time then you have the day off. It was originally in February (I think) but that turned into a student day because of all of the snow. So I was off today instead.
Anyway, the day started out like any other with breakfast. Then while I got some things ready Oliver played with Graham and set up a train in the kitchen. Then we spent our morning at the Cincinnati Museum Center with Kelli, Daniel, and Claire. The boys love playing together! Graham also enjoyed rolling around on the floor and playing. Claire just does her own thing but definitely seemed to have fun doing it. After a few hours of playing we had lunch and headed home for super long naps - including one for me!
Speaking of rolling, Graham is mastering the art of rolling over and over and over to get to the things he wants. It's adorable and frightening all at the same time. He can go from one side of the room to another in a matter of seconds!
On another note, Holly's mom made both of the boys quilts this spring. They LOVE them! Oliver's has Thomas on it and Graham's is Winnie the Poo. She asked that I take pictures of them with the blankets. I don't have great pictures yet, but I'll keep working on it.
And finally, house stuff. We have 20 more days until we close on our current house, 27 more days until we close on our new house, 36 days until we get keys, and 50 days until we have to turn over our keys. I can't wait to be in a new neighborhood that is closer to the stuff we do! More on that to come as we get closer....
