Sick of the Sickies

Our latest round of sickness started Wednesday night with Graham being up almost every hour. After it happened again on Thursday night Brent took him to the doctor to find out that he had an ear infection. Then throughout the weekend he started getting blisters on his hands and in his mouth, so we think he may have gotten Hand, Foot, and Mouth too. With antibiotics in his system, he seemed back to normal by Sunday morning.

Then I got the dreaded call from daycare on Monday afternoon. Oliver had a fever, didn't eat lunch, and did not want to get up from his nap. He has spent the last two days on the couch (yesterday I cleaned from top to bottom). When I took him to the doctor yesterday afternoon we discovered that he too had Hand, Foot, and Mouth but also strep throat. His throat is hurting enough to make him super whiny and not willing to eat anything except for yogurt and applesauce.

Even though Oliver is not eating, Graham can't get enough to eat! At the doctor's office yesterday he ate an entire bag full of animal crackers. Then we we got home he walked into the kitchen holding the huge container and said, "I want nack!" He's a bottomless pit! Then he ate an entire bowl of chili with cornbread for dinner. Oliver, on the other hand, did not eat anything.

We can't wait for spring! Sickies, GO AWAY!
