Wednesday morning we loaded our car and drove to Grammy and P-paw's house. The trip down went better than possibly any road trip we've ever taken. We spent time eating lots of good food, learning at at the Tellus Science Museum, playing at an indoor bounce-house playground, and enjoying seeing family. The best part for the adults was date night in Marietta on Friday night. Oliver's favorite was getting one-on-one time going out to special restaurants and playing with his grandparents. This morning we drove back home. We will miss spending time with them!
Tonight we went to the Easter service at our church. The service was recorded from Jerusalem by our pastor and worship band, so we were able to experience the actual places recorded within the moments before Jesus's death and tombs like the one where the resurrection occurred. The best part was Oliver coming out with the best explanation of Easter so far. "Easter is when Jesus died then rose again." We are excited to attend a church where kids are able to understand the gospel on their level and we can build on it at home. Praise the Lord! Jesus rose and we can live!
