Labor Day Weekend

I'm This weekend was lots of fun! Brent had the entire weekend off. The original plan was to go camping, but it was 90+ degrees in the forecast so we rescheduled the trip for October. Instead we played at home.

On Friday night April and I went out to dinner, painted at Color Me Mine, got ice cream, and chatted late into the night at the bookstore. Brent and Eric met at the pool and the boys swam for a few hours.

On Saturday the day started with Oliver's soccer game. Then the boys went to the park and I made took a big test for work. Fortunately I passed though it was a difficult test for sure! That afternoon we celebrated by eating out then went to church.

Sunday we went to the zoo all morning. When we got home everyone took a nap. All afternoon we played at home until having spaghetti for dinner.

Today we spent the morning with the Faris's at Miami Whitewater park. Our adventures included a mile hike, playing in the stream, a picnic lunch, and playing in the splash park. When we got home it was again time for naps. Then we cleaned up and had dinner.

Tomorrow we get back to our normal schedule. Summer is now officially over for this year. We can't wait until next year!
