Hiking

Today was amazing! It started out with kids who stayed in bed until 7:00, when the light turned green. Graham now has a light too...and it's amazing! The boys hold each other accountable to the lights turning green and go back to bed when necessary. Once we were up, Brent and I made the spontaneous decision to go for a family hike. On the way we stopped at Reality Tuesday for some amazing chai tea and caramel apple danish. We hiked about a mile in the California Nature Preserve. It was a perfect day! The boys loved finding various sticks and watching it "rain" leaves. After the hike we had lunch at Jason's Deli, which is always nice because they have free ice cream! Then Oliver had a basketball game. Brent watched him play while Graham and I went to the grocery store. Once we got home, Graham laid down for a nap and the others went to practice basketball. I finished budgeting and paying bills. Tonight we went to church, got free Chickfila sandwiches, and went to the Boone County Pumpkin Walk. It was a great day!
