Brent had a lymph node removed on Wednesday so the doctors could determine why they were swollen on his neck. The surgery went well though we don't have any results at this point. April came to sit with me during the day, which was a huge blessing. Brent has a line on his neck where the procedure took place. The worst part was after the surgery was finished it took longer than they told me to get to see him. I was worried that he was throwing up from the anesthesia, but he was actually ok other than super drowsy. He just kept asking everyone if I was ok. Even though we bicker a lot sometimes, it is moments like this that remind us of our love!
The boys have been precious. They both pray for Brent every day. Oliver prays for Dad's bad blood to get better. Graham prays that the doctors will stop poking his daddy with a needle in the neck, in the arm, and in the butt.
We are blessed beyond measure and continue to hope Brent's condition improves. Hopefully one day we will be able to say he is cured of CML.
