Potty Training...

Graham has decided that his stuffed animals need to be potty trained. So he asked me to help him put underwear on Papa Bear, Monkey, and Scratchy. One night he decided that Papa Bear had pooped his pants and started to dump the pretend poop in the toilet. After a discussion about how this is inappropriate and we don't play in the toilet, we set up a pretend potty. We had a full-on discussion about how the pretend potty was for the stuffed animals and the real potty was for Graham. The next morning, as I was changing Graham's clothes, Papa Bear needed to go potty again. I made him wait until after we were finished. As I began walking out of the door, he had Papa Bear facing the pretend potty (his Easter basket) and making a peeing sound. Then he helped him pull his underwear back on and told him "Good job." You've got to love Graham and his imagination!
