June 13-17: In the ATL

Last week we spent some time in Atlanta. We visited with Grammy and Pepaw, but also had quite a bit of time with our little family as well. Tuesday we drove down. On the way we enjoyed a picnic. For dinner, Pepaw taught Graham how to grill. Wednesday we went to the aquarium. We loved watching the various animals, loved lunch at the Atlanta Breakfast place, and the kids tried out their first 4D movie. Graham's favorite was the whale shark, Oliver liked the smaller shark, Brent's favorite was the huge stingray, and mine was the sea turtle. Thursday we went to the Lego Discovery Center. The boys played in the pirate ship playground for a long time. They also enjoyed another 4D movie and making cars out of Legos then racing them. Friday we enjoyed hiking at Kennesaw State park, playing at a splash pad, and a Braves game. The boys enjoyed the game and even made it through the fireworks at the end. We had an awesome time!
