July 8: Friends from Houston

Friday night the Higgins family spent the night on their way back to Houston from a trip to Michigan. Tommy and Courtney have been friends of ours for 13 years. We met them a week after we got married when we went to our first "Young Marrieds Small Group" meeting in Houston. The families had not seen each other in about 6 years; Selah and Graham were not even born yet! It was amazing how we did not miss a beat! The adults stayed up late catching up. The kids played together well also and truly enjoyed each other's company. The entire visit, though less than 16 hours, was amazing! We can't wait for the next time we get to see them!
