Oliver's Playing Soccer

This morning Oliver had his first soccer game. He's been playing at daycare all throughout fall semester with a company called "Happy Feet." They come to the school every Tuesday and teach the kids basic soccer skills. He loves playing and talks about it all the time. When we found out that they also had opportunities on Saturday mornings that included games, we decided to sign Oliver up. He is on the sky blue team with 7 other boys. This morning was the first time Brent and I actually got to see him play. He did a great job! Game day is made up of 30 minutes of team building and learning soccer skills.  The last 30 minutes is made up of four scrimmages, 5 minutes each, where the goal is for the kids to touch the ball as many times as possible. Each Saturday morning through the beginning of March we'll be going to Oliver's soccer games. We can't wait to see him get better and better at a sport he really enjoys!
