Play in the Snow

Today it is snowing again. This meant that Oliver had to miss soccer this morning and was in much need of releasing energy. So after Brent finished shoveling the sidewalk and driveway, he had me bundle Oliver up and send him outside to play. This is the first time Oliver has been able to play in the snow this year because the temperatures have hovered around zero. Today it was around 30... heatwave! They played outside for about half an hour and Oliver's favorite neighbor, Mr. Mike, even came to join in on the fun. Mike loves Oliver so much he even made a snow angel in the front yard! There were many snowball fights and even a moment where Oliver unsuccessfully attempted swimming in the snow. I happily stayed inside while Graham slept, cooked spaghetti for lunch, and took pictures from the front door until it was time to undress the cold ones and get them warm again.
