Easter

Jesus is alive! If you were to ask Oliver he would tell you that Jesus lives in our hearts. It's precious! I love that he is starting to learn the reason that we go to church and why we live. We know that we are not perfect and constantly make mistakes. But we also know that Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Praise the Lord that we get fresh starts and he redeems us!

Last weekend Oliver and I died Easter eggs on the back porch. He loved seeing the different colors all over the eggs. He also loved eating the egg salad later in the week!

This morning we were up early to go to church. Because we went to Knoxville yesterday we missed our normal Saturday night service. We enjoyed being together as a family. After the service we had ham, veggies, pineapple, and rolls for lunch. Delish! Then Oliver enjoyed a little Easter egg hunt in the front yard. My favorite is enjoying the blessing God has given me of our boys. Though things are absolutely crazy around here most of the time, we know that all blessings come from above. Thank you, Jesus for all you have done for us!
