The Week of Christmas

This week started out with us all feeling a bit better. So on Monday morning I took the boys to see Santa. They boy enjoyed sitting on the jolly old guy's lap and talking to him. Then Graham went to daycare so I could take Oliver to the dentist. Oliver did fantastic! He even got a prize from the machine and I took him for a special cupcake treat.

On Tuesday we went to the museum to see the Holiday Train display one more time. Then the boys played at the Children's Museum before we had lunch and came home to take naps. Graham got to play in the water for the first time, which he loved!

The rest of the week has been mostly at home because our water heater went out. So Christmas Eve morning it was replaced, thank goodness! Oliver has learned to open a banana on his own, which he's super excited about. On Christmas Eve I made Christmas-shaped pizzas for lunch with the boys. That night we went to church as a family, though we did not get to sit together much because Graham could not sit still.

Then it was off to bed to await the excitement of Christmas morning!
