July 4th

To celebrate the independence of our nation from England, we ate hotdogs and all the side dishes for dinner. Then Oliver and I went to fireworks in a neighboring community on Saturday night. It was awesome to enjoy fireworks with him for the first time because up until this year his ears have been too sensitive to the sound. We had a blast! It was something I will remember forever!

On Sunday it rained so we spent the day at home. Not much happened other than church in the morning. It was a great day to relax!

On July 4th Brent had to work so the boys and I went to the museum to play. I love watching them interact and have fun together! After naps were over we headed out in search of a puzzle. Oliver wanted one of his own and ended up with a 3-part Avenger's puzzle. I helped him with the majority of the first part but he's doing the rest on his own.

This morning we went to play with Lisa, Grady, and Lexina at Pogo Play. Then we had lunch at Summit Park. It was a fun morning with friends who we've not seen in a while. In 2 more weeks there will be an addition to their family that we look forward to meeting also!

It is so fun that we have so much to do together. We love summer!
