January 8: Money and Apples

This morning the boys were talking about money when I realized that Graham had money from his birthday and that Nana had given him while we were there that he's never spent. When I asked what he wanted to buy he said, "More Octonauts." Oliver wanted to buy some more Legos but he does not have enough money. He was distraught. But it was a great lesson! Oliver learned that he has to work hard to get money so he can buy things. So he's been doing chores the rest of the day! Mom win!

I also discovered that the boys love eating apples that are not cut up. They will eat them all the way down to the seeds. It takes 10-15 minutes. What a great use of time! I think they will be having apples a lot more!
